Remedial and Special Needs Class Solutions for Mainstream Partners



Although national policy prescribes inclusive education, the truth is there are limited educational options for learners who learn differently.

The CareJunction offers educational solutions for families and our educational partners through Bridging Class Solutions in mainstream pre-school and primary school settings



What makes our classes and
approach different



Research demonstrates that children with learning, sensory and processing difficulties need smaller class sizes with greater one on one teacher to facilitate learning. Our classes consist of a ratio of 8:2

Classroom curriculum and programmes are run by our specialist developmental teams including our: Special needs teachers and therapy teams.



Classroom activities are guided by

academic and therapy targets specifically designed for each learners needs. We use IEP's (individualised education plans) as well as the other formalised measures to track learner progress



Although having a specialised, targeted learning environment is crucial we also appreciate that learners with developmental gaps need exposure to mainstream peers and activities to learn. All our programmes aim at providing inclusionary or streamed educational approaches within mainstream school settings.

Bridging classes



Small, specialised classes focussing streamed therapy-guided learning.

Current classes operate at a ratio of 9:3 which includes one specialist teacher and two trained assistants within the classroom.

Primary School Inclusion Programmes



An specialist teacher-led inclusion programme for children with remedial needs in a mainstream educational setting. A ratio of 6 children to 1 specialist teacher are placed across various primary school grades in The CareJunction's mainstream educational partner network



Facilitation Programmes



Sourcing, training and provision of facilitator services for parents and partners within the CareJunction network thereby allowing for more one on one support for learners increasing their independence in learning within mainstream education settings
